Connect to a network using MetaMask

You can connect to a Quorum Blockchain Service (QBS) network using a MetaMask wallet, which allows you to perform transactions and displays account balances.

Prerequisites​

Steps​

  1. After installing MetaMask and generating a wallet, add the QBS network by selecting the Networks drop-down, and selecting Add Network.

  2. Configure a new network with:

    • Network Name = QBS network
    • New RPC URL = Your QBS connection string. For example, https://transaction-1.contoso.supplychainconsortium.onquorum.net:3200/H5xErimMMG32jtiRYbyEiWa2.
    • Chain ID = 10
    • Currency Symbol = ETH

  3. Select Save to save your newly created QBS connection.

  4. Open MetaMask in your browser, and you'll see that QBS Network is the default network.
