Delete a Quorum Blockchain Service network

Quorum Blockchain Service (QBS) is a fully-managed platform as a service (PaaS) available in Microsoft Azure as an Azure Managed Application. While QBS is hosted in Azure, it's managed by ConsenSys to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and that your infrastructure has the most up-to-date security patches.

Deleting a QBS network is as simple as deleting your QBS Managed Application in Azure.

Delete your QBS network​

Deleting your QBS network only deletes your QBS Managed Application (member). If your QBS member is part of a consortium with other QBS members, we recommend removing your member from the consortium before deleting your QBS member.

The deletion process de-provisions and removes all dependent Azure resources for your member (VMs, storage accounts, networking, etc.). Once your member is deleted, it can't be restored.

  1. Access the Azure Portal using your Microsoft Azure account details.

  2. Under All Resources in the Azure Subscription your member resides, find and open your QBS member.

  3. Select Delete in the Overview toolbar, and select Yes to confirm.

  4. Once the deletion process completes, you will no longer be charged for your QBS member and its underlying resources.
